1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data we collect as a Data Controller when you interact with our Website, register an account, and purchase subscriptions.

Please note that regarding the API traffic routed through our gateway infrastructure, MirApi Gateway acts strictly as a Data Processor. Our customers are the Data Controllers of their own API traffic and are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents and complying with applicable data protection laws.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide, secure, optimize, and bill for our Service. We categorize the data into Account Data, Payment Data, Technical & Usage Data, and API Traffic Data.

  • Account Data: We collect only your email address when you register for an account. We do not require or collect your name, phone number, or physical address unless voluntarily provided by you.
  • Payment Data: To process monthly subscription charges, we use integrated third-party payment processing gateways. Your credit card information is processed directly by these payment gateways in a secure, encrypted environment. We do not store, view, or process your credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical & Usage Data: We automatically collect certain system and analytical information when you access your dashboard, including IP addresses, browser types, log data representing access times to the cabinet, and cookie identifiers.
  • API Traffic Data (Zero Log Policy): MirApi Gateway operates as a high-performance proxy. Under our strict Zero Log Policy, we never store request or response bodies in persistent storage; all payload data is processed transiently in-memory. Furthermore, to prevent accidental PCI-DSS compliance violations and data leaks, our system is programmed to proactively block and reject clear-text ("raw") credit card numbers before they can be processed or logged. However, you remain solely responsible for any configurations, custom plugins, or third-party logging integrations you enable that may capture or store payload data on your own systems.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our API Proxy Gateway, infrastructure, and Dashboard.
  • Improve, personalize, optimize, and expand our Service.
  • Understand and analyze how you use our dashboard and gateway to ensure system stability.
  • Develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
  • Communicate with you regarding account updates, transactional notifications, and critical platform alerts.
  • Secure our systems, mitigate DDoS attacks, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share your information only with trusted third-party service providers to ensure the operation of MirApi Gateway:

  • Payment Processing: We use third-party payment gateways to securely process payments for our subscription plans. Since all paid plans are non-refundable due to the availability of our Free Tier, these providers only process active subscription charges authorized by you. Your billing details are processed directly by the payment provider under their respective privacy policies.
  • Infrastructure Services: We share technical, non-identifiable routing data with cloud hosting and infrastructure providers solely to securely route, filter, and protect your API traffic.

5. Data Security, Retention, and In-Memory Processing

We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data. Because we adhere to a Zero Log model for API traffic, request payloads are routed strictly in-memory and deleted immediately after the response is delivered, eliminating the risk of transit data leakage on our platform.

Account records (such as your email and billing status) are retained only for as long as your account remains active or as required by applicable tax, accounting, and legal regulations in Ukraine.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Alignment)

In alignment with global privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), every account user is entitled to the following rights regarding their Account Data:

  • The Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • The Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain legal conditions.
  • The Right to Restrict/Object to Processing: You have the right to object to or request restriction of our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

Note: If you are an end-user of an application or service that utilizes MirApi Gateway, you must contact that specific application owner (the Data Controller) to exercise your privacy rights.

7. Children's Privacy

MirApi Gateway is a B2B infrastructure service and does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.

9. Governing Law & Merchant Info

This Privacy Policy and any disputes related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
